Join Hilary Becker, an expert in ancient Roman pigments, for this hands-on workshop to create your own fresco painting. Fresco is one of the oldest painting techniques, valued among other things for its permanence. You will learn about the science behind its incredible durability. This workshop will be fun for art lovers and scientists alike!
Hilary Becker is Associate Professor of Classics with the Department of Middle Eastern and Ancient Mediterranean Studies at Binghamton University.
