About Us

The mission of Combat Robotics @ Cornell (CRC) is to inspire students both inside and outside of engineering to develop skills and gain experience in the exciting field of combat robotics. We strive to create a community where above all, learning is encouraged and members are willing and able to contribute to the best of their abilities, whether it be through helping to build the robot, organizing logistics for competition, securing sponsorships and grants from companies, or working to maintain the team's public image through the team's website and social media accounts. Our organization aims to provide an environment where members can learn from and teach one another. The mechanical members will learn the fundamentals of robot design, while firmware members learn how to integrate automation into combat robotics. Our marketing members will improve their networking and marketing skills to develop our team's reputation at Cornell. Beyond technical skills, we seek to promote soft skills such as teamwork, accountability, and time management in order to prepare students for leadership roles in their future professional and personal lives.
