President
Elena Woo is a senior from Portland, Oregon majoring in Biology & Society. Aside from being President of Cornell Votes’ Coalition Department, she serves on the Every Vote Counts National Student Board and is an Andrew Goodman Foundation Ambassador. Outside of civic engagement, Elena is part of the Cornell Tradition Fellowship, is involved in Alpha Iota Gamma (a professional healthcare fraternity), and is an ELSO (English Language Support Office) Speaking Group Facilitator. She also works at Beaverton City Hall and is an undergraduate research assistant at the Tschida Lab in the Department of Psychology.
Vice President of External Operations
Lauren Sherman is a senior majoring in Government. Besides being the VP of External Operations for Cornell Votes, she is actively involved in Cornell Democrats and Planned Parenthood Generation Action.
Vice President of Internal Operations
Serena Wang is a junior from McLean, Virginia majoring in Policy Analysis and Management. In addition to being VP of Internal Operations, she is an Andrew Goodman Foundation Ambassador and is involved with the Cornell Political Union, Asian American InterVarsity, and Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. Serena also conducts research for a Cornell Law School professor.
Vice President of Finance
Camille Simmons is a junior from Madison, Wisconsin majoring in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Accounting. Aside from being VP of Finance for Cornell Votes, Camille is also a part of A Seat At The Table and the Society of Women in Business at Cornell.
Community Engagement Department Chair
Rahul Verma is a senior from the Bay Area, CA majoring in Global and Public Health Sciences. Besides being Chair of Cornell Votes’ Community Engagement Department, he serves on the Global Health Student Advisory Board, is involved in PhiDE (Pre-medical Pre-Professional Organization), and is an undergraduate researcher at the FIG Lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences.
Coalition Department Chair
Josh Weiner is a senior from Ann Arbor, Michigan, majoring in Government at the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to being Cornell Votes’ Coalition Chair, he is VP of Membership for Pi Lambda Sigma (a professional government fraternity) and involved with the Cornell Democrats. Josh is active in campaign politics and enjoys exploring nature in his free time.
Communications Department Chair
Alicia González is a senior Sociology major from McLean, Virginia. She is passionate about spreading Cornell Votes’ message as Chair of the Communications Department. Outside of Cornell Votes, Alicia is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow and Policy Analyst at the Cornell Roosevelt Institute.
Advisor
Joyce Muchan, ILR '97, had been with the Public Service Center since 1999 and is now bringing her experience and expertise to the Einhorn Center as Assistant Director of Student Programs. Her focus is student leadership development within co-circular service programs with a racial equity analysis, project management, student-run board management with transitional leadership, evaluation, reflection, student-board grant allocation, curriculum-based service trips, as well as the coordination of Cornell's largest student-run service projects.
Joyce currently serves on the Southern Tier Human Trafficking Task Force and the Cornell Alumni Club of Ithaca. She has served on several community boards and task forces including, Tompkins County Human Rights Commissioner, City of Ithaca Rental Housing Commissioner, Ithaca City School District Affirmative Action Committee, Ithaca City Drug Task Force and Ithaca City Community and Police Conflict Management Task Force. Joyce is also a member of Sphinx Head.
