Camille Simmons

President

Camille Simmons is a junior in Dyson concentrating in Accounting and the President of Cornell Votes. Outside of civic engagement, she is heavily involved with A Seat At The Table, which is a business ethics organization on campus. She is from Madison, Wisconsin and loves to sew, watch TV, and hang out with friends in her free time.

Serena Wang

Vice President of Internal Operations

Serena Wang is a junior from McLean, Virginia majoring in Policy Analysis and Management. In addition to being VP of Internal Operations, she serves as an Andrew Goodman Foundation ambassador and on the Einhorn Center Alumni Advisory Council. Serena is also on the executive team for Asian American InterVarsity and conducts research for a Cornell Law School professor. In her free time she likes to read the news, paint, and hang out with friends.

Zikora Akanegbu

Vice President of External Operations

Zikora Akanegbu is a freshman from Ellicott City, Maryland majoring in Urban Planning. Aside from being VP of External Operations, she is actively involved in the Homelessness Action Project at Cornell and Pi Lambda Sigma (a professional government fraternity).

Erin Lim

Vice President of Finance

Erin Lim is a junior from Northern Virginia majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations. Besides being VP of Finance, she is a member of the Alzheimer’s and Red Cross Club and has worked as the primary communication liaison for LabourStart, a non-profit labor organization. In her free time, Erin likes to watch crime documentaries.

Hiba Loukssi

Community Engagement Department Chair

Hiba Loukssi is a freshman from Ohio studying Public Policy. Outside of being Chair of the Community Engagement Department, she is an OADI Research Scholar, Freshman Representative and Co-Advocacy Committee Chair for First Generation Student Union, VP of Programming for Student Programming Council, Hall Council President of Low Rise 6 & 7, Brooks School Ambassador, and member of the Student Union Board.

Noah Freedman

Coalition Department Chair

Noah Freedman is a sophomore from Washington, DC, majoring in Government. In addition to being Chair of the Coalition Department, he sings in The Key Elements, an a capella group on-campus, and is the Secretary of the Cornell Discussion Club. Noah spends his free time checking out new running trails.

Lucia Caravella

Communications Department Chair

Lucia Caravella is a sophomore from Homer, NY studying Industrial and Labor Relations at the ILR School. Besides being Chair of the Communications Department, she is involved with the Intergroup Dialogue Project, Cornell Chorale, ILR Peer Mentors, Rose Service Scholars, Student Library Advisory Committee, and recently the Student Assembly Elections Committee. In her free time, she loves to read, bake, and spend time with friends and family.

Joyce Muchan

Advisor

Joyce Muchan, ILR '97, had been with the Public Service Center since 1999 and is now bringing her experience and expertise to the Einhorn Center as Assistant Director of Student Programs. Her focus is student leadership development within co-circular service programs with a racial equity analysis, project management, student-run board management with transitional leadership, evaluation, reflection, student-board grant allocation, curriculum-based service trips, as well as the coordination of Cornell's largest student-run service projects.

Joyce currently serves on the Southern Tier Human Trafficking Task Force and the Cornell Alumni Club of Ithaca. She has served on several community boards and task forces including, Tompkins County Human Rights Commissioner, City of Ithaca Rental Housing Commissioner, Ithaca City School District Affirmative Action Committee, Ithaca City Drug Task Force and Ithaca City Community and Police Conflict Management Task Force. Joyce is also a member of Sphinx Head.
