This workshop will provide faculty and staff with a legal overview of the current immigration landscape as well as guidance on supporting the undocumented and DACA student population at Cornell. Hosted by the Cornell Undocumented and DACA Student Support office (Victor Cuicahua, Associate Director for Student Empowerment, Undocumented and DACA Support) and Cornell 1L Immigration Law & Advocacy Clinic (Professor Jakki Kelley-Widmer and Cornell Law students Aziz Ali, and Osamede Egharevba,) this session will include a presentation and a chance to ask questions.

Amidst ongoing litigation and a shifting immigration landscape, undocumented and DACA students face unique challenges and opportunities as a result of their immigration status. This workshop is open to all faculty and staff who want to support this student population on their personal, academic and professional journeys. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
