APAA (established in 1972) is a group of passionate students dedicated to advocating for the AAPI community at Cornell. APAA builds on its past work in promoting the fundamental importance of political education and history through advocacy and discussion. AAPA is committed to furthering AAPI awareness on campus and to politically empowering and advocating for the needs of Asian-Pacific American students. Furthermore, APAA builds coalitions with other students of color and social justice groups to facilitate a more unified community of color. In the past two years, APAA held discussions on revolutionaries and thinkers like Grace Lee Boggs as well as relevant issues in the AAPI community such as affirmative action, rising gun violence in the AAPI community, and Asian-American history. We are also engaging with the greater Cornell community through fundraisers, panels, and other events to raise awareness about AAPI issues. APAA also publishes a literary magazine called Parallax, an Asian American social and political journal that highlights historical and contemporary AAPI topics of interest.

It is the purpose of The Black Women's Support Network to provide a supportive, educational, and social venue where women of African descent can discuss issues affecting and pertaining to their community. Support is consistently provided to these women by giving them ample access to all resources and tools needed to assist them in their academic, personal and social endeavors while at Cornell University. Items under this umbrella include, but are not limited to: academic workshops and development, sexual/mental/physical/emotional health assistance, and access to other supportive Black women through a variety of social events and initiatives such as the B.O.S.S. (Building Ourselves through Sisterhood and Service), a peer mentorship program for self-identified women of color. Moreover, the Black Women's Support Network aims to serve as a forum where women of color can share, reflect and gain knowledge from each other's experiences. BWSN seeks to accomplish this by providing engaging Sister Circle discussions on a regular basis throughout the year. Sister Circles are our unique form of General Body meetings which occur bi-weekly. The Black Women's Support Network also aims to reach out to other Black women within the Greater Ithaca Community through community service initiatives and interactions with young "at risk" females.

Building Ourselves through Sisterhood and Service (B.O.S.S.) aims to foster healthy and genuine relationships between upperclassmen and underclassmen womxn of color, promote positive social interactions within womxn of color communities, encourage high academic and personal standards, provide access to helpful campus resources, and inspire community involvement and commitment to service. Incoming freshmen are paired with juniors. These pairs will stay together formally for 1 year. Although the program understands the importance of the year for growth and development, matches of sophomores and seniors can be made on a case-by-case basis. For example, a sophomore transfer student may be matched with a senior. We create a variety of programs throughout the year that encourage pairs to bond as well as serve the Cornell and Ithaca community.

1. To centralize the needs and interests of the GJR students in the development and maintenance of quality after-school programming

3. To nourish a reciprocal partnership in which Cornell students both provide resources for and learn from GJR students

4. To provide support and opportunities for personal reflection to all Compass members

5. To serve as a gatekeeper to the GJR after-school programs and provide support for other students, classes, or professors who may wish to engage with Compass organizations

6. To coordinate and maintain strong communication channels with GJR teachers program co-facilitators (i.e. the Math and Literacy Coaches)

To provide educational opportunities for the Cornell community, and especially Compass members, on broader systems of oppression – such as socioeconomic status, racial identity, gender identity, sexuality, ability status, etc. – that contribute to the disenfranchisement of many of the GJR students

We demand a humane immigration system that does not exploit and incarcerate immigrants, in Upstate New York and beyond.

Our team will conduct virtual visitation with and provide direct social services for migrants detained at ICE detention facilities (facilitate their access to resources, support services, legal services)

We will also engage in political advocacy by spreading awareness about the immigrant detention system, organizing with statewide and national campaigns for immigrant justice, and fundraising for migrants in need of financial support.

Founded in the fall of 2010, GlobeMed at Cornell University is a sustainable global health organization that partners with a AMMID, Asociacion Maya-Mam de Investigacion y Desarrollo, in Comitancillo, San Marcos, Guatemala. Our projects take a holistic health approach, including environmental and nutritional implications and influence on locals' health.

Our chapter has about 30 active staff members and is managed by an executive board. We, the chapter members, work together with AMMID to implement long-term initiatives to better the health community members in Comitancillo.

Throughout the year GlobeMed at Cornell hosts educational events on campus, raises funds for our projects with AMMID, works on-site in Guatemala through organized internships during winter or summer breaks, learns to think critically about global health, and trains passionate leaders committed to realizing a world with equity in health.

SASSY works directly with Girls Educational and Mentoring Services (GEMS), a non-profit agency in New York City, whose mission is to "empower girls and young women, ages 12–24, who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking to exit the commercial sex industry and develop to their full potential. GEMS is committed to ending commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking by changing individual lives, transforming public perception, and revolutionizing the systems and policies that impact commercially sexually exploited youth."

SASSY has engaged with the Cornell community while maintaining and strengthening its relationship with and support for GEMS. SASSY has hosted several workshops, discussions, and movie screenings for the Cornell community.

Furthermore, our club serves as a valuable hub to connect students with opportunities in the realm of animal care and shelter medicine. Background and Mission: Despite their increasing presence in the collegiate environment, non-traditional students (NTS) are often overlooked and misunderstood, especially at the graduate level, with universities primarily catering to the needs of traditional students and lacking NTS support services. The definition of an NTS may vary, but a generally agreed upon definition for a non-traditional graduate student is someone who may be older (e.g., 25 years or older) than their fellow students and/or took a detour, rather than a direct route, from undergraduate to graduate school. This definition is inclusive of students who:
• Had a previous career/job before going back to school
• Are parents and/or have dependents
• Are caretakers
• Are military service members/veterans
• Employed full-time and/or goes to school part-time
• And/or financially independent

As we march towards a more inclusive environment within veterinary medicine, it is vital to support non-traditional DVM, MPH, and PhD students. Thus, the Association for Non-traditional Students (ANTS) aims to create a sustainable support network for non-traditional DVM, MPH, and PhD students at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM). ANTS’ values and vision revolve around the following:
• Building community at Cornell, Ithaca, and beyond (including other DVM, MPH, and STEM PhD programs)
• Being a resource and sharing resources (e.g., student-parent childcare grants, mutual aid, and emergency funds)
• Outreaching to allied groups, programs, NT CVM alumni, and offices to further foster and advocate for the professional and social support of non-traditional students.
