Mission
The Pelvic Pain Association at Cornell (PPAC) promotes solidarity and activism around pelvic pain issues. We are inclusive of many different conditions that may cause chronic pelvic pain, including PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, vulvodynia, IBS, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and many others, including undiagnosed conditions. We are not a provider of health care advice or affiliated with any other pelvic pain organization.

The Sharing Bowl Club at Cornell brings together graduate students and undergraduate researchers pursuing interdisciplinary studies and research. Unlike researchers in well-established fields with well-established norms, interdisciplinary researchers could struggle with the lack of sense of belonging while navigating norms, language, and expectations of diverse fields at the same time. We aim to create a welcoming environment where members can discuss not only their research but also the unique challenges and joys of being interdisciplinary. Our goal is to normalize the uncertainty, curiosity, and creativity that come with crossing disciplinary boundaries. Inspired by feminist consciousness-raising and mutual aid, the club values collective care, dialogue, and cultural exchange. We believe in supporting one another through shared experiences: meals, conversations, tending to plants, and exploring Ithaca and beyond.
