Our mission is to implement community-driven engineering projects while forming strong, long-lasting relationships with developing communities around the world and fostering an ethic of responsible, sustainable engineering. We, as students, have the opportunity to learn about international cultures and traditions, limitations on resources and maintenance, and careful management of funding and materials, all in addition to working on the design and implementation of an engineering project. The Fantastic Fungi Fanatics club creates a platform for people to share their passion for fungi. Fungi are often overlooked in our surroundings but play an essential role in our everyday lives and in all ecosystems.

Our club activities may include but are not limited to:
o Mushroom hunting field trips
o Experimental exploration
-Mushroom identification
-Mushroom cultivation
-Cooking with mushrooms
-Discussions on research and studies
-Others (slime molds, fermentation, etc.)

Cultivating a positive social community which fosters a passion for plants and teaches the value of horticulture.

Hortus Forum has a key role in providing educational experiences beyond the classroom and teaching the Cornell community about plants. This includes but is not limited to: field trips, presentations and workshops, promotion of internships, career development opportunities, and social events.

Plant sales are a necessary function of the organization; they are a means of generating revenue, and are utilized as learning opportunities and outreach.

Although plant sales primarily encompass ornamental plants, Hortus Forum represents the breadth horticulture and includes opportunities for engaging with a diversity of plant-based experiences.
