The Capitalista Collective Club will provide a supportive environment where Cornell women can gain exposure to the venture capital and private equity sectors. Our primary goal is to inspire, mentor, and empower women interested in these fields through mentorship, education, and networking opportunities. Specific goals of the club include: Mentorship: Partnering with experienced venture capitalists and private equity professionals to mentor and coach students. We aim to facilitate meaningful relationships between students and industry experts. Monthly Meetings: Hosting monthly events where venture capitalists and private equity professionals will present on industry trends, challenges, and personal experiences. Networking: Encouraging women to join venture capital and private equity by creating a strong peer support network, facilitating internship opportunities, and providing students with real-world insights into these fields. Diversity and Inclusion: We will emphasize the importance of diversity and inclusion, ensuring that students from all backgrounds are encouraged to participate in venture capital and private equity.
