FRIDAY Movies on the Arts Quad: Shrek 20th Anniversary (Big Red Pride Days)

4/21 UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, we are moving the Shrek screening to the follow day on Saturday 4/23. We are starting the film a half hour later at 8:30pm.

Movies on the arts quad (MOTAQ) have been a long-standing Cornell tradition, typically hosted by Class Councils each semester. This year MOTAQ is being hosted by Campus Activities and sponsored by Cornell Class Councils, Film Club, and Cornell Cinema. Each week (starting 4/8) on the Arts Quad there will be an outdoor movie showing from 8-10pm.

Seating opens at 8pm with the film starting at 8:30pm!

For inclement weather (rain, wind, etc.), the movie will move from Thursday to Friday. We will send updates to folks who RSVP on this event and will share on our Instagram @cornellactivities.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

COVID-related safety is the top priority for all in-person events hosted by the Campus Activities office. We will be carefully designating space on the arts quad for students to enjoy the film, and watching attendance numbers to make sure that screening is not over-populated. Attendees can sit with a group. Staff and student volunteers will be working the event to enforce health and safety measures.

All participants are expected to:

• Wear your masks

• Stay 6 feet apart from others when possible

• Follow all health and safety guidelines set by the University
