About Us
The Briggs Society of International Law exists to further our understanding of international law and contemporary, international legal issues. The eponymous Professor, Herbert W. Briggs, was a distinguished lawyer, scholar, and educator in the international legal community. As an organization, we work to follow in the late Professor Briggs's footsteps; the Briggs Society hosts guest speakers, helps coordinate international moot court competitions, and introduces students to potential careers in international law.
This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.
