About Us
I have always felt that animation has been devalued as a legitimate art form, and my ultimate desire is to shift people’s long-standing negative mindsets, perceived limitations, and even prejudices regarding what animation can be and do. I wish to establish this club to increase awareness in the often unnoticed artistry and capabilities of the medium of animation. I want to provide an opportunity for students to participate in the production of animation projects to experience firsthand the tremendous potential for the medium to express the raw and true emotion of the human spirit. Establishing a club at Cornell University would provide a unique opportunity.
