About Us

The purpose of GAL shall be to foster community building among Arab students, and to address the social, academic, and cultural needs and concerns of graduate and professional students of the Arab community at Cornell University. We understand the term 'Arab' as an umbrella term to include any member of the Cornell graduate and professional community who identifies with Arab culture, widely defined, and not as Arab. GAL is open to graduate and professional students from all backgrounds who support this mission.
