About Us

Our mission is to provide a gateway for Cornell pre-medical undergraduates to gain exposure to the medical field by pairing students with a Weill Cornell medical student mentor and organizing events that include trips to the Weill Cornell campus in NYC. The broader vision of WIN is to bridge the geographical divide between the two campuses, thereby facilitating greater intercampus dialogue and collaboration at the student level. Distance should not become a significant obstacle for students' academic and professional growth. We hope to expand to include Physicians Assistants and PhD mentorship programs with Weill Cornell in the future.

In 1868, Ezra Cornell wrote, “I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.” More than 150 years later, the “... any person ... any study” principle continues to guide the university community. Cornell welcomes students, faculty, and staff with diverse backgrounds from across the globe to pursue world-class education and career opportunities.
