Women in Healthcare Leadership is an independent, self-governing young professional organization at Cornell University which empowers women to pursue leadership roles and management positions within both private and public health care systems, hospital networks, and private firms by uniting professional development, personal growth, mentorship, and industry resources. The organization is also dedicated to the global elevation of women, in all industries, and serves to provide resources to those interested in professional development. We recognize the impact of uniting diverse thoughts and backgrounds to create a better health system for all. Focused on offering support to women who are building careers in the healthcare industry, WIHL facilitates networking opportunities with prospective employers and alumni, professional development programs, community service outreach projects, and hosts formal and informal activities to unite graduate and undergraduate students.
