This webinar will follow up on the November 2024 “Building Bridges” webinar. The first part focused on the significance of fostering strong relationships between veterinarians and the Spanish-speaking community on farms, culture insights, communication and sensitivity. Part 2 will share Spanish phrases that can spark conversations, strengthen connections and facilitate on-farm interactions. Common terminology and phrases related to cattle will also be covered. The webinar will also introduce valuable resources for learning cattle-industry terms in Spanish, empowering participants to enhance their language skills and deepen their engagement with the immigrant workforce. This webinar is brought to you by the AABP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
