Politics and Robes: Navajo vs. Arizona

Join the North Campus faculty-in-residence and the Tatkon Center for New Students for a series for new students to learn about some of the key cases on the Supreme Court docket. Each session will be facilitated by a legal scholar and a content expert. Cheese, cookies and coffees will be provided to all attendees!



Federal law decides who has rights to the waters of the Colorado River, which is essential to the Navajo Reservation. Is the federal government required to consider the Navajo Nation's needs when allocating Colorado River water rights? We will be joined by Cornell Law Professor Michael Sliger and Professor Kurt Jordan.
