About Us
Our mission is to teach, share, and perform traditional Korean folk music within the Cornell and Ithaca community. We hope to promote the traditional musical aspect of Korean culture, and thus contribute to the cultural and ethnic diversity here at Cornell University. We wish to display the passion and skill of those in Shimtah, and in turn, the reasons for our dedication to this form of music. This club also provides opportunity for students of Korean heritage or those interested in Korean culture to form a social network.
