About Us

Our organization represents diverse histories of Sephardic and Mizrahi Jewish backgrounds. Our family stories derive from Spain/Portugal, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen. Therefore, the purpose of the Sephardi & Mizrahi Council shall be to share our stories and values. We hope to celebrate the wisdom and warmth of our Sephardi & Mizrahi traditions and live the example of what these values have to offer to our greater Cornell University community.
