Hi, y'all! My name is Andreas Psahos (he/him/his) and I am a sophmore majoring in Policy Analysis and Management in Human Ecology. This spring will be my first semester as both an RA and a Risleyite, and I am looking forward to meeting everyone! I was born and raised in Queens, New York, which is probably the reason why I don't have a license, I have a bagel superiority complex, and I gawk at every animal on campus that isn't a squirrel or a pigeon.
Although I wouldn’t consider myself the typical theater-lover, I have a passion for music, writing, and performing. In the pre-COVID era (the before times), I was the drummer in jazz and pop-punk bands that played gigs across NYC, and I performed original spoken word pieces on climate justice. I’m excited to live in a community full of Cornellians who also want to create, explore, and experiment!
On campus, I am the Advocacy Director for Cornell Roosevelt Institute, the Executive Secretary of Cornell Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and am involved in a few research projects with professors in the PAM department. The career plan is to eventually go to law school and pursue a career in environmental/antitrust law and regulation. Beyond the law school grind, I am fascinated by all things nature/ecology related, and how technology has transformed how users engage with social issues (+ the implications this has on public policy).
Please feel free to reach out or stop by Risley 225 if you have a question or just want to talk! I hope to see you around!
