Details

Researchers have studied the benefits of having houseplants as a way to bring nature indoors. Working with houseplants has been shown to reduce stress, lower anxiety, and improve an individual's sense of wellbeing. Especially during finals period, students could benefit from a study break to work with plants. Come on Tuesday, April 25th between 1:30PM and 4PM at the Big Red Barn to pot up a houseplant and ask questions about plant care! We will have Cornell grown plants, pots, and soil available to take home.
