February 10: Michelle Artibee
Michelle Artibee, MBA (she/her) is the director of workforce wellbeing in the Division of Human Resources. Throughout her two decades in higher education she’s focused on addressing the spectrum of wellbeing-related needs of faculty, staff, and retirees to help them and their organizations thrive. She finds peace and hope in imperfection and often turns to her personal mantra – “Do the best you can, in the moment you’re in, with the resources you have” – as she moves through this beautiful and messy thing called life.
Michelle will reflect on her experiences with body size and weight loss/gain, weight discrimination and inclusion in the workplace, working in a field that historically prioritizes thinness, and finding peace and love in health and her relationship with food.

Join us for Soup & Hope 2022
For more than a decade, dozens of Soup & Hope speakers have touched, inspired, motivated, and stirred the hearts of those who gather during the winter months at Sage Chapel. Stories have come from a wide range of Cornell staff, faculty, students, alumni, and community members. They reflect diverse personal, cultural, religious, political, and philosophical beliefs and experiences. Each story is shared among friends and colleagues, traditionally over bowls of hot soup and bread.
