Curious about what research really looks like at Cornell? This is your chance to find out! These sessions are designed specifically for Cornell Engineering undergraduates interested in research — whether you're just starting to explore the idea or looking to get involved.

Each research group's session may include lab tours, research presentations by group members, and/or Q&A sessions — led by researchers, including undergrads, PhD students, and faculty. It's a great opportunity to hear directly from real researchers, understand what day-to-day research work actually looks like, and learn how you can get involved as an undergraduate yourself.

Each tour runs 30 minutes.

Engineering students planning to apply to the Rising Researchers Program must attend at least two sessions.

Dates:

Mon., October 19 | 4–7 PM
Wed., October 21 | 4–7 PM
Sat., October 24 | 2–4 PM

Specific research group tours/open houses will be posted and open for registration starting October 1st. Space is limited, and you must sign up for the specific research group(s) you want to visit — so mark your calendars and register early!
