P3 students are invited to apply for the American Medical Education Conference, sponsored by the Student National Medical Association. This year the conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri. The conference offers a pre-med Admissions fair, hundreds of workshops and opportunities to meet healthcare providers and students. All costs will be paid for by P3, including airfare, food, and hotel.
Please remember if you were selected for P3 in September 2024 you are not eligible to apply for this opportunity.
We have limited spaces this year. Only actively engaged students will be considered. Please update your tracker and meet with your advisors prior to applying.
We will leave Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and return on Sunday, April 20, 2025. This means you will be absent from classes for four days. Please consider this in the context of your schedule and commitments before applying.
Timeline:
- Friday, Oct. 11: Application will launch.
- Tuesday, November 12: Applications close at 12:00 pm
- Friday, November 15: Students will be notified by 12:00 pm if they have been selected. We only have space for eight people.
- Monday, November 18/Tuesday, November 19: Selected students must accept and meet with their individual advisors to finish the membership and conference registration. This meeting can occur via Zoom or in person but must be completed by November 19.
Completing this interest form does not guarantee you spot for the conference.
Food Provided (Some meals will be provided by the conference, e.g. pre-med lunch. We will cover meals not provided by the conference.)
