GIS Day at Cornell University
Registration
Details
International GIS Day, which is scheduled globally for the Wednesday of the 2nd full week of November, is an opportunity to celebrate all things GIS! During this day, we will hear lightning talks from many people from the Cornell community who are using GIS and related geospatial technologies in their scholarship and professional work.
The lightning presentations will spotlight the geospatial research, teaching, and outreach in the Cornell community, to give participants a chance to introduce themselves to the geospatial community and share a bit about their work.
Plus, the BIG map of New York State (15' x 20') will make an appearance (walking on it with socks is okay). Followed later in the afternoon at the Big Red Barn for a no-host Mappy Hour! Join us for all or when you can!
