MICC G-Body and NME Session

The purpose of these sessions is to bring together prospective, newly admitted, and returning members of the Mutual Investment Club of Cornell (MICC) on a weekly basis to reinforce the club’s mission, structure, and approach to investment education.

During these meetings, the executive board and senior members provide ongoing overviews of MICC’s history, values, and role on campus, while outlining expectations for general body members throughout the semester. The sessions include structured New Member Education components, such as weekly training modules, skill-building workshops, and sector-based exposure to fundamental investing concepts. Returning members use these meetings to further develop technical and analytical skills, contribute to discussions, and take on increasing responsibility within the organization. Attendees also learn about MICC’s coverage teams, leadership opportunities, and pathways for progression within the club.

Overall, these recurring sessions serve as both informational and community-building gatherings to ensure all members consistently understand how MICC operates and how they can actively participate and grow throughout the semester.
