The project is a formal End-of-Semester Gala hosted by Med-in-Black, Cornell’s Black pre-health student organization. This gala serves as a culminating celebration of our organization's achievements throughout the academic year and, more importantly, as a tribute to our graduating seniors who have demonstrated unwavering commitment, leadership, and academic excellence. The event will provide an uplifting and empowering space for members to reflect on their growth, honor one another, and reinforce the values of representation, excellence, and community service in medicine.
This initiative aims to strengthen organizational identity, build inter-class unity, and foster a culture of celebration within historically underrepresented student groups in the pre-health track. It will feature a formal dinner, speeches from student leaders and alumni, senior send-offs, and member recognition awards, all while highlighting the critical role Med-in-Black plays in shaping future healthcare leaders.
