Join us on Friday, February 21st, in Willard Straight Hall, to learn more about Pacific Islands culture and history featuring American Idol Winner: IAM TONGI. Doors will open at 5 pm, with plenty of activities to enjoy, food, and drinks! We will also have tabling and other activities in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Club at Cornell!
Enjoy a performance at 7 pm by Iam Tongi, the Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter who became the first Pacific Islander to ever win American Idol. Iam Tongi is known for his viral performance of James Blunt’s “Monsters” during his audition on American Idol. Since American Idol, Iam has continued to write songs and travel the country performing his music, now bringing him to Cornell! We are so excited to have Iam Tongi perform at our campus! The ticket link for the event can be found in our bio!
