Need a creative break? Cornell University Library’s Create & Connect Fridays are back at Mann Library this fall!

On select Fridays throughout the semester, we'll have supplies on hand for a variety of crafts and media (e.g. drawing, watercolors, felting and other textile arts, paper crafts, and more). For those who might be interested in a little how-to guidance, we’ll also have different kinds of expertise present at each session. Open to all Cornellians and all skill levels — from beginner to seasoned artisan. Start a new project or bring your own!

For those interested in gaining new skills, expertise in various techniques will be offered as follows:

September 18: Origami & paper crafts, with Lindsay Bahureksa
October 23: Needle felting, with Carson Williams
November 13: Knitting & crocheting, with Diana Hackett


Drop in for some informal tips and guidance, try your hand at something new, or bring your own project and make some progress in a relaxed, convivial setting. We look forward to sharing some creative Friday afternoons with you this fall!
