Flyer for In Conversation: Chicana Artist Sandy Rodriguez

Join us in conversation on Sandy Rodriguez's Codex Rodriguez Mondragón (2017—), that chronicle recent events of the children who have died in ICE detention as well as protests against CBP, detention & ICE. Sandy Rodriguez is a Los Angeles-based artist, teacher, and researcher. The conversation will range from the art process on amate paper, and the use of natural pigments and organic colorants learned by studying Indigenous knowledge as well as the Florentine Codex.
