Mission
QGrads strives:
(a) To strengthen the Cornell graduate community by strengthening the queer graduate
community so that students of all sexual orientations and gender identities are heard, seen, and
supported.
(b) To plan events and programming that promote the personal and professional
development of graduate students of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
(c) To actively address the needs of graduate students at Cornell, centering the experiences
of those with identities that are historically underrepresented or marginalized in academic
communities.
(d) To advocate for social justice on and off campus, not only for the queer community, but
for all historically marginalized communities.
