Full participation is an affirmative value focused on creating institutions that enable people, whatever their identity, background, or institutional position, to thrive, realize their capabilities, engage meaningfully in institutional life, and contribute to the flourishing of others (Sturm 2006, 2010). Attendees will be asked to view a movie, listen to a podcast, or read an article to gain an understanding of full participation. During the 1-hour session, employees will have the opportunity to discuss their questions or initial impressions on the concept with their colleagues across the university.

Refreshments will be provided.
