Interested in growing your leadership skills and exploring what it means to lead in engineering? Join BEE Hive for a Engineering Leadership Talk with guidance to help you take the next step in your leadership journey!

John T. Finn, P.E. is a 1983 graduate of Cornell's BEE M.Eng program with more than 35 years of experience leading project teams and serving in leadership roles in consulting firms and non-profit organizations. He lives in Ithaca where he is active in climate action education and volunteering with AguaClara Reach. John enjoys spreading joy through music, community theater, and his latest passion - hosting dance parties.

John will be facilitating an exploration of engineering leadership. What does it mean to be a leader? What is self-leadership? What are various styles of leadership and where do they work best? Are there distinctive characteristics and skills that engineers might bring to their leadership roles?

Free food will be provided!
