Facilities and Building Care Assistance
Use the online Service Request system to report any concerns regarding alarms, damage, doors, drains, elevators, flooring, furniture, leaks, lights, locks, mechanical noise/failure odors power/electrical, service, room temperature, snow, water, or windows. For facilities emergencies, do not submit a service request, but rather follow the emergency request protocol and call.

Laundry machines are located in the Laundry Room on the Main floor, outside Unit 2 and across from the vending machines and public bathrooms. Additional information about Laundry Services at Cornell can be found here.
Dining
The closest Dining Halls to our Community are North Star Dining at Appel and Toni Morrison Dining Hall. Other nearby eateries include Novick’s Café in Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Crossings Café in Toni Morrison, and Bear Necessities in the Robert Purcell Community Center (RPCC). Additional information about Dining Services on campus can be found here, including locations, times of operations, and meal plan information.
Spaces within the Community
Lounges and Kitchens: Each Unit has a Unit Lounge and Kitchen attached. Each Kitchen has an oven, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and sink.
The HILC Main Lounge is located between Units 3 and 4.
Finding your Room
Rooms in HILC are numbered systematically. The first number is your building number (8 for Low Rise 8). The second number is your Unit (1, 2, 3, or 4). The third number is your Suite (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6). The last number is your Room (1, 2, 3, or 4). For example, 8223 is Low Rise 8, Unit 2, Suite 2, Room 3.
Sincerely,

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo╠▒hó:ný' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo╠▒hó:ný' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo╠▒hó:ný' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo╠▒hó:ný' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.
