SAGE is a program produced by a collaborative effort between the GenEQ Resource Center and Cornell Athletics. The program provides a safe space that supports the unique nature of woman-identifying athletes' academic, athletic, and personal identities. The goal of this evolving program is to create and grow a culture within the athletics community to empower all of the woman-identifying and gender expansive athletes we work with. This semester's second event will analyze social media representation of female athletes during the Olympics and Paralympics that occurred this year. Bracelet making with be the main activtiy paired with in-depth discussions of gender equity in sports, impact of social media, and the history of women's sports!
