Join GenEq and Alex — historian, writer, and local performer — to learn about the feminist spirit of the 90s riot grrrl punk music scene. See examples of zines created by women, queer and trans folks as well as 90s video clips from Alex’s PhD research. Students will also have a chance to get creative and build community through a skills-sharing craft space inspired by DIY punk culture, expression, and resistance.

All supplies are provided and free, this event is open to all Cornell students. Stop by, create something, and connect with others. Dinner will be provided.
