In this talk, Noel Treffinger (ETH Zurich) will provide an introduction to the spatial planning systems in Germany and Switzerland, highlighting their structures and comparing their approaches. He will also offer an overview of current debates and recent developments shaping spatial planning in both countries. The presentation will provide insights into how planning frameworks respond to major challenges in the built environment and evolving policy priorities.
