Feeling conflicted about the election? Not sure how to address politics with friends or family over Thanksgiving turkey? Feeling like Cornell can do more to support free expression while depolarizing campus? Or just overwhelmed by polarized conversations?

This November 22nd starting at 4pm, stop by and grab some free food for a Day of Dialogue event on political polarization.
• Discuss your experiences with polarization during an empathy workshop co-hosted by EARS and CPU.
• Hear from a panel of faculty and experts about polarization in the U.S., co-hosted by the CPU.
• Join a student-led listening session with the GPSA about better supporting healthy discourse on campus.
• Learn tips for confronting misinformation head-on, with a workshop by VaCS Co-Director Dr. Kara Rode Webber.
• In parallel, EARS will be offering drop-in peer listening sessions.
Dinner and a light reception will be provided.

This event is co-hosted by the mental health organization EARS, graduate advocacy group VaCS, the Cornell Political Union, and the student government group GPSA. Everyone in the Cornell community is welcome!

Food Provided (A complimentary Chipotle dinner will be offered around 6:10 PM.)
