About Us
Delta Chi was founded as a law fraternity on October 13th, 1890 at Cornell University. In 1922, a collective body of members decided to register Delta Chi as a general fraternity, thereby opening membership to men of any academic discipline. In 1929, Delta Chi became the first fraternity to abolish the hazing practices associated with "hell week." Since that time, Delta Chi has evolved into an international organization, now including 120 chapters and colonies, and over 90,000 members worldwide.
