The Frontiers of Discovery Lecture Series brings distinguished scholars and leaders to campus to share their research, experiences, and perspectives with the Cornell community.

This installment of the series will feature Dr. Jefferson Cowie, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for History and leading scholar of U.S. political and labor history. Dr. Cowie’s work has reshaped how scholars and the public understand the history of American politics, class, and social movements. His lecture will explore themes drawn from his groundbreaking research and provide insight into the forces that have shaped modern American society.

The event will begin with brief opening remarks from the organizers, followed by Dr. Cowie’s keynote lecture. Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session and engage directly with the speaker’s ideas.
