Cornell University Program Board, in collaboration with the LGBT Resource Center, Haven, and CUTonight, is proud to present a FREE live discussion and songs with MARY LAMBERT (she/her) and WYATT PAIGE HERMANSEN (they/them) of the podcast Manic Episodes on Friday, September 16th at 7pm in Call Auditorium. Lambert, best known for her 2012 collaboration with Macklemore "Same Love," and Hermansen discuss mental health, self-love, queer relationships, fat activism, and sobriety.

Lambert is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter with a prolific career as a composer, poet and activist. Not ones to shy away from tough conversations, Hermansen and Lambert, both diagnosed with bipolar disorder, have taken on issues like sexual assault and consent, eating disorders, social justice issues, effective political activism and their relationship to the church as gay Christians. Hermansen, who identifies as non-binary, often talks about their experiences navigating the professional and academic worlds as someone whose gender identity itself is often a point of political contention.
