Alfredo Con

Spanish Resident Language Fellow

Alfredo Con is a sophomore majoring in Earth and Atmospheric Science, and is working toward a concentration in Climate Science and a minor in Climate Change. He is from Lexington, Nebraska where a large immigrant population speaks Spanish. In fact, Alfredo grew up speaking only Spanish for the majority of his childhood. He is excited to guide others and reintroduce himself to the language learning journey!

Alfredo is passionate about all things related to weather and nature. He prefers spending time outdoors around animals and insects, where he loves taking pictures of everything new he sees. Naturally, he is also a climate activist. In his free time, he likes to catch sunsets around campus and play tennis, ping pong, and pool. He also enjoys hanging out with friends to play video games, especially Pokémon.
