Each year on National Coming Out Day, we see a lot of emphasis on the individual coming out narrative. And for good reason; coming out is often deeply personal. But our stories are never just our own. As LGBTQ people, our stories intersect with and are shaped by the stories of other LGBTQ people. In celebration of National Coming Out Day, join Chris Stedman—author of IRL, professor at Augsburg University, and host of Unread, named one of the best podcasts of 2021 by Vulture and Mashable—for a night of stories and conversation about how coming out isn't just a story we tell once, but is something we live into for the rest of our lives. One that changes and challenges us, helps us find meaning, and brings us into community with others.
