Fall 2023 Growthshops Discussion Series

Join us for a weekly series that explores and promotes personal growth within LGBTQ+ identities. Below you will find a formal description of the program, but our aim is to create a relaxed, yet thought-provoking atmosphere where we promote identity development through casual chats about all things queer. And the best part? Delicious, free dinners will be provided for all participants! We believe that self-discovery and empowerment can be achieved through both lighthearted and meaningful exchanges. So come as you are, bring your appetite, and be ready to laugh, reflect, and connect with others over a delicious meal.

"Growthshops is a program that meets for six consecutive weeks throughout the semester, once a week for two hours at a time, that was created to help the attendees explore their sexual or gender identities through facilitated discussions in a group setting. Through guided activities and conversations on topics ranging from identity exploration, healthy relationships, gender expression, coming out/inviting in, queer resilience and more, we hope to provide our cohort with a space for self-discovery and empowerment. Free catered dinners are provided to all registered participants throughout the course of the program, as we will meet from 5:30-7:30pm every Wednesday starting Oct 11th."
