Join us for a night filled with mocktails, poetry, and jazz to celebrate the rich history and culture of the Harlem Renaissance! We will be serving signature mocktails inspired by Black Queer icons from the 1920's. Create your own "blackout poetry" using the inspiring words of Black writers, or write something new - then share your work the end of the night during our closing Spoken Word session.

The Speakeasy WILL have a passcode for entry. Hint: It's the title of a very famous Harlem-based zine published in 1926! DM us or one of our sponsors to get the passcode.

Party attire recommended, but not required! All are welcome.

This programming is offered collaboratively by Black Student Empowerment, BSU, SoulAAn, the LGBT Resource Center and Haven.
