This is an all-day trip departing from *** Jessup Road on North Campus *** at 8 AM and returning around 7 PM.

- Seats have sold out, but if you check back periodically, some may open up! Additionally, if you weren’t able to register, you may show up to the bus pick-up location at 8 AM on April 8th and we will do our best to seat you in place of any no-shows.

- If you or a friend have a car, please CARPOOL YOURSELVES so those without cars can ride our buses instead!

- If you decide not to attend, please CANCEL your registration so others can take your spot!

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will sweep across North America. Getting to see totality of an eclipse—when it's safe to gaze directly at the Sun's swirling atmosphere—is one of the most incredible astronomical events a person can witness. It won't happen again in America until 2044!

Because the path of totality is slightly north of Ithaca, we will be chartering buses for undergraduate students.

Our destination will be the Rochester eclipse festival (ROC The Eclipse). Food will NOT be provided. Please bring your own lunch or plan to buy food at the festival.

DO NOT return late to the buses. We will not wait for you after the scheduled departure time of 4 PM (this will be reiterated during the trip). If you miss the bus, you will be responsible for your own transportation back to Ithaca.

Eclipse glasses and safety information will be provided to all participants.
