Virtual and conference-based courses led by the Interior Northeast I-Corps Hub (IN I-Corps)
University-based STEM researchers and early-stage founders: You’re invited to evaluate the market potential of your deep technology innovation, gain a deeper understanding of your industry, and learn valuable professional skills in a free, month-long I-Corps Regional Course.
The following courses begin online and culminate with funded customer discovery travel to an industry-specific conference:
August 18 – September 17: Open to energy storage innovators. Features travel to Las Vegas, NV for RE+. Hosted by the NSF Energy Storage Engine in Upstate New York in partnership with Binghamton University and Cornell University. Apply by July 23.
September 15 – October 15: Open to researchers developing battery innovations. Features travel to Detroit, MI for The Battery Show. Hosted in partnership with Binghamton University and Rochester Institute of Technology. Apply by August 20.
September 15 – October 15: Open to researchers developing semiconductor innovations. Features travel to Phoenix, AZ for Semicon West. Hosted in partnership with Syracuse University and University of Rochester. Apply by August 20.
December 8 – January 16: Open to researchers developing AgTech innovations. Features travel to Anaheim, CA for the American Farm Bureau Convention. Hosted in partnership with Cornell University. Apply by November 12.
The following virtual courses are offered to innovators in all STEM fields unless otherwise stated:
August 29 – October 3: Hosted in partnership with West Virginia University. Apply by August 6.
September 22 – October 22: Hosted in partnership with University at Buffalo. Apply by August 27.
October 13 – November 14: Hosted in partnership with Binghamton University. Apply by September 17.
November 12 – December 15: Hosted in partnership with Dartmouth College. Apply by October 15.
