Mission Cornell Running Club was founded to promote the sport of running at Cornell. We meet regularly at 5PM in front of Goldwin Smith Hall on weekdays, and in the same location at 4PM once daylight saving time ends. The club's aim is to provide a safe, social environment for Cornell community members who would otherwise run alone. Members receive email updates about social activities, competitions, and club proceedings such as elections, and can also join our groupme for more frequent updates. The club welcomes runners of all experience levels and our runs vary from 3 to 10 miles or more at a variety of paces. The purpose of the Club is to promote regular exercise, although many members also choose to compete in races. CRC is a member of National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA), so members have the option of participating in intercollegiate competition. Members may also run in a number of local road and cross country races throughout the year.
