About Us
The Men’s Volleyball Performance & Development Club at Cornell was created to expand access to organized, high-level men’s volleyball for students who are passionate about the sport but not currently part of the travel A/B teams. Each year, over 35–40 students try out for the existing club, with fewer than 5 earning roster spots—leaving many experienced and motivated athletes without a structured environment to continue improving. This organization fills that gap by providing a comprehensive training and performance program focused on skill development, athletic preparation, and internal competition. Through weekly position-specific labs, guided scrimmages, performance and injury-prevention training, and video/analytics sessions, members will strengthen their technique, decision-making, and teamwork. The club will also offer opportunities for the broader Cornell community to participate in tournaments and clinics, fostering engagement across all skill levels. Our goal is to provide determined, developing players with a more effective environment to improve, while complementing the existing travel teams—creating a deeper, more sustainable pipeline for Cornell men’s volleyball and ensuring that every athlete has the opportunity to train, compete, and grow.
