Membership benefits include opportunities to hone trial advocacy skills and to compete in both internal and external competitions.
We host a spring internal competition (open to all 1Ls and eligible LLMs, 2Ls, and 3Ls) and we compete in fall and spring invitational and external competitions (open, by tryout, to eligible 2Ls and 3Ls)
We hold workshops and presentations about how to develop case theories and themes; craft compelling narratives; appeal to juries, draft and present effective examinations, opening statements, and closing arguments; utilize the Federal Rules of Evidence; and adapt on the spot to the changing conditions of trial.
We host general body meetings, events, and mixers aimed to allow members to connect with others students interested in oral advocacy.
Equal Education and Employment.
