The JSDA Conference's Berger keynote speaker, Federica d'Alessandra, Deputy Director of the Institute for Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict (ELAC) and founding Executive Director of the Oxford Programme on International Peace and Security at the Blavatnik School of Government, will offer a lecture on the critical role of academia and young scholars in navigating these challenges and opportunities. The speaker will offer big-picture insights and illustrate these points with specific contexts, such as the ongoing situation in Syria.
